when blues is good to you, you know you're listening to Jeff Jensen!
Whether he's covering Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Tom Waits, etc. or playing his originals, Jeff Jensen is one blues artist that anyone can get into! His soulful and smooth guitar playing accents his soft and soothing vocals in a way that moves the listeners to new levels. In the hit film "The Mask", Cameron Diaz sings "Gee Baby Ain't I Good To You", a song by A. Razaf and D. Redman, but is it possible that her bright red dress, cool blue eyes, and flowing blonde hair still seem painfully weak when compared to Jensen's soothing cover? It may seem a stretch, but I'm actually comfortable saying that! Then, just when you've started to fall in love with the soft tones of Jensen's voice, "Little Red Rooster" gets the audience on their feet, and some masterful harmonica and guitar work comes into play. This is one artist I'll be keeping my eyes on.... His album was unpredictable and downright amazing, makes me wonder what will come next from this blues great!
